We are open-minded, balanced, caring, knowledgeable, principled, thinkers and inquirers, who communicate, take risks, and reflect on our actions. Follow our journey on our final year of the PYP.
Grade 5, in preparation for our new Unit of Inquiry: How We Organise Ourselves, partook in a trading game that would better help us understand our Central Idea: Understanding Supply and Demand is Essential for a Business to Succeed. We were organised into countries that had an envelope with money, some 'resources' and 'tools'. We needed to create shapes for our traders (who were very strict) that were to the exact size required. Some of us noticed that we didn't have the same resources and tools (or money!) as other countries and had to trade or negotiate a price for the items we didn't have. It really helped us start our new unit and understand our Central Idea.
